Another week has passed us by, meaning another Gazette is here! This week the weather brought us snow and ice. V enjoyed the snow, and she tried to be careful on the ice. Everything has been fairly standard, so let's dive into what this week has been like.

M has been working like usual this week, things are normal in that regard. During his days off we have been doing things around the house, and spending time together. He helped V with some diamond art, which she then started doing on her own. The small gems are easy to lose though, especially when they get knocked over 😅.

D is still at his parents. He will be coming back on the 29th when he will officially move in! D and I managed to hang out for an hour this week. Although it was only short I enjoyed seeing him and chatting for a bit. I appreciate any time he can make for me when he's down that end ^.^.

I have had some ups and downs this week. A mixture of self-image issues, missing D, loneliness when D has been busy and M has been working, and a couple of times I was reminded of my past.

At the beginning of this week, I had a phone call appointment with my GP to discuss a possible hysterectomy. I was told they could refer me to the hospital to speak to someone, but first I need to lose weight as my BMI is too high. They recommended I start on their weight loss program. I self-referred to said program, and now I'm waiting to see what it's like. This brought around a few down moments for me. I've worked not to make my weight the forefront of my mind, and now if I want to go ahead with everything I'm going to have to have my weight on my mind again. This triggered memories of when I used to struggle more with my eating. I already struggle now, for different reasons than before, so I'm not sure how well this program is going to work for me. I am planning on writing about this journey though. So, keep your eyes peeled for that!

With all that said, I don't think there's much else to cover. Thanks for delving into this week's edition of the Grotto Gazette with me. Until next time, stay curious!
